EVU Management Ltd. (EVU) is a Limited Liability Company organised under the laws of the Republic of Cyprus in 1998. It has been managing two funds in Ukraine, EVU I and EVU II, and is also acting as a consultant to The Ukraine Opportunity Trust PLC, an Investment Trust traded on the London Stock Exchange (ticker UKRO). EVU Management is a member of the Emerging Markets Private Equity Association. All three funds have similar investment objectives to achieve long-term capital growth, primarily through a diversified portfolio of companies incorporated, headquartered, domiciled, or whose businesses are primarily carried on in Ukraine. Euroventures Ukraine seeks to achieve a long-term capital appreciation by taking significant stakes in portfolio companies through negotiated transactions, while taking an active role to influence their operations and management with the objective of achieving superior returns. The company typically aims to realize capital gains on its investments in four to six years. The investments range from US$ 5 to 10 million of equity and/or quasi equity per transaction. Larger financing can be arranged through syndication with other private investment firms, fund investors. The company's investment interests are broad; however, we are particularly interested in fast moving consumer goods, distribution, communications, manufacturing and service businesses. The day-to-day operations of EVU are managed in Kyiv by a six-man team consisting of two Co-Managing partners, Mr. Leslie Hawrylyshyn and Mr. Valeriy Schekaturov, a partner, Mr. Lyubomyr Vasylyev, an associate partner, Alexander Petroschuk, and two investment managers, Mr. Vitaliy Myloshyk and Mr. Oleksandr Cheredayko.
