Roman Ivanenko, the General Director of "Euro Leasing", has been nominated for the international award for leasing.

During the Asset Finance conference 2009 in Berlin, Roman Ivanenko, a Head of Directors of the Ukrainian Union of Lessors Association and the General Director of the leasing company “Euro Leasing” has been nominated for the international prestigious award for leasing “Personality of the year”. Mr. Ivanenko has been selected as one of five final nominees (HSBC Equipment Finance, Lease Plan Corporation, Siemens Financial Services Turkey та Deutsche Leasing).

The Committee of the prestigious award took into account his successful activity as the General Director of “Euro Leasing”, one of the leading leasing companies in Ukraine, as well as his efforts concerning market consolidation, formation of the Professionals Association, improvement of the normative-legal environment and doing business in Ukraine.

The awards were first held in 2007 together with Leasing Life and partner organizations to recognize the best top players in the sphere of leasing in Europe.

Euro Leasing is one of the leading leasing companies providing complex transport solutions in the sphere of fleet management, services of financial and operative leasing of passenger cars, commercial cars and trucks. The Ukrainian Union of Lessors Association is the only representative authoritative in the leasing industry in Ukraine that brings together legal entities dealing with leasing to protect their interests, and represents nearly 80% of the leasing market. The organization is also a member of Leaseurope (European Federation of National Associations) that unites representatives of 51 countries.
